The Solid Waste Management Department provides solid waste service to the citizens of Houston through the collection, disposal and recycling of discarded material in a manner that is safe, efficient, environmentally sound and cost effective.
Police and Clergy Alliance (PACA) community town hall meeting
Our friends at the HPD Eastside Station have invited us to this Police and Clergy Alliance (PACA) community town hall meeting. Seating will be reserved for residents served by the Eastside Station. The citywide meeting will be at Lakewood Church located at 3700 Southwest Freeway on January 26 from 10 am to 12 noon.

Now that the holidays have passed it is time again to bring awareness of what to expect that will be happening within the next few days. There have been gun shots in the area and it is not a holiday so the shots will need to stop or HPD will be notified of your street and the crossing street. If you have any questions please feel free to respond and I will reply in a timely manner.
These are the violations that will be ticketed and reported so please lets come together and clean our properties so that you will not be ticketed!

Houston City Council Member Dave Martin Sworn In
Houston, TX – District E Houston City Council Member Dave Martin was officially sworn in today among colleagues, friends and family during the first city council meeting of the new year. Council Member Martin is a longtime resident of the district and brings a wealth of knowledge and unparalleled public and private experience to his new role.
“I am truly grateful and honored for the opportunity to serve the constituents of District E, and look forward to working together to better not only our communities but the entire City of Houston as well,” said Council Member Martin.
Since the November election, Council Member Martin has readily met with several directors of city departments to gain a better understanding of how each department operates and what to expect to effectively work together on behalf of his constituents. Council Member Martin and staff will continue to actively work with these key individuals as well as the community throughout his first term.
As constituent service is of his first priority, he welcomes all residents of the district to contact his office with questions or concerns and to follow him on social media to stay updated on recent news.
Council Member Martin takes the seat former Council Member Mike Sullivan occupied before being elected Harris County Tax Assessor last November.
