HCAP Follow-Up: News from Plant Managers

Attached, Please find updates from the nearby plant managers that were discussed at the HCAP Meeting on the evening of September 8th, 2015. The next HCAP meeting will take place at the same location Brady’s Landing, October 13th, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 pm. I encourage everyone to attend.

You will then be linked to our database of sold permits. If you have questions about any of these permits, please contact the Code Enforcement Group at 832-394-9494 or email RMCACD@houstontx.gov
If You Suspect Possible Deed Restriction Violations:
You can notify the City of Houston’s Legal Department if you suspect that a permit violates your community’s deed restrictions regarding the any of the following areas:

 

  • building use
  • setbacks
  • lot and/or building size
  • building height
  • number of structures on lot
Please Note:
Please verify your deed restrictions before filing a complaint. If you do not have a copy of the deed restrictions for your area, you may obtain a copy from the Harris County Clerk at (713) 755-6411 or visit their web site at www.cclerk.hctx.net .To Reach Other City of Houston Departments:www.houstontx.gov

City of Houston’s Solid Waste Management Department (SWMD)

2023 Holiday Schedule

  • New Year’s Day – Monday, January 2
  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Day – Monday, January 16
  • Memorial Day – Monday, May 29
  • Juneteenth Day – Monday June 19
  • Independence Day – Tuesday, July 4
  • Labor Day – Monday, September 4
  • Veterans Day – Friday, November 10
  • Thanksgiving Day – Thursday, November 23
  • Day After Thanksgiving – Friday, November 24
  • Christmas Eve – Friday, December 22
  • Christmas – Monday, December 25

The City of Houston’s Solid Waste Management Department (SWMD) will suspend normal collection services and close its facilities in observance of the Labor Day Holiday on Monday, September 7.

SWMD services will then resume on a special schedule during the week. Please observe the below graphic for more information, and contact the District E office at (832) 393-3008 or districte@houstontx.gov with questions or concerns.

Our Tree Waste will be picked up on Tuesday, September 8th since we fall under the first Monday of the month.

Town Hall Meeting Reminder!

Dear neighbors,

Congressman Gene Green along with the Park Place Civic Club will be hosting a Town Hall Meeting today.

Elected officials and public safety officers will be present  to hear your concerns and answer questions you may have.

Some of the topics that will be  discussed include the following; Reform legislation on commercial chemicals, Trade Promotion Authority, Health Bill, and much more.
