Art Car Sneak Peek at Discovery Green!

Greetings!
The one and only Aaron Neville “tells it like it is” performing a free concert for the public tonight at the Art Car Sneak Peek from 6:30 – 10 pm! See the art cars up close and meet the artists of the 28th Annual Art Car parade.

Enter a raffle by sharing your favorite Discovery Green memory at our tent, to win seven incredible prizes in honor of our 7th birthday! GONZO247 will also capture the celebration by creating a live painting at and of the evening’s festivities.

To celebrate Houston’s glorious new green spaces, look for the DG2BB Bicycle Brigade in the Art Car Parade on Saturday, April 11, 2015.

This event is made possible by a grant from the Kinder Foundation with additional support from Buffalo Bayou Partnership and The Orange Show Center for Visionary Art.

Recycling Pick up is Every other Tuesday!

Our community is considered the “B” week which is the schedule without the highlighted week.  Every Tuesday of the un-shaded week is when the Green Recycle bins will be emptied.  The month of April it will be picked up on the 7th and the 21st.  Please use the guide to know what you can and can not put in the Green bins.

Junk Waste“Junk Waste” is defined as items such as furniture, appliances, and other bulky material.Tree Waste is accepted during Junk Waste Months; however, to ensure your Tree Waste is recycled, you may hold your tree waste materials until the next Tree Waste designated month or take it to a Neighborhood Depository/Recycling Center.

Time to clean up your curb!

The rain has given us all a break and the sun is out!!  

Please take this time throughout the weekend to rake up all the leaves from the curb of your house so that the water can flow.

Easter even is coming up and the bunny will be visiting our neighborhood along with the plant directors who are located behind us.

Show how good our homes can look when the sun permits!!

If you know of any resident who needs help then let me know of the address so that we can gather volunteers for them.

Visible Smoke from a Boiler at TPC Group

This is TPC Group located at 8600 Park Place Boulevard. This is a courtesy message to notify our neighbors that during a unit startup a process issue occurred resulting in intermittent visible smoke from a boiler stack in our facility. This will occur throughout the day. At this time, we do not expect any impact to our employees, industrial or community neighbors.  We will continue to monitor the situation and update this message if additional communication is required.
