Thank you TPC Group, Petrologistics for your sponsorship towards NNO, we had  approximately 287 in attendance.  Compared to last year we had around 330.  This was an opportunity to meet and greet your neighbors!  Everyone enjoyed the food, music, and each others company.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Department of Neighborhoods (DON)

Director Catherine Flowers along with Mayra Hypolite, Kenneth Bacuum, Maria Bolanos accepted the community’s petition to have Ms. Pam Wiley remain our Inspector.  Ms. Wiley was given a Certificate of Excellence and a gift basket for her achieved efforts.

Catherine Flowers introduces her role as director of the new department to lead neighborhood services and provide her intentions to steer from being known as “Stepchild”.  The mayor proposed a new city department formed by putting the following existing offices under one umbrella:

• Mayor’s Anti-Gang Office

• Citizens’ Assistance Office

• Office of Education Initiatives

• Office for People with Disabilities

• Inspections and Public Service (formerly Neighborhood  Protection )

• Office of Immigration & Refugee Affairs

 Volunteer Initiatives Program
