Houston City Council Member Dave Martin Sworn In
Houston, TX – District E Houston City Council Member Dave Martin was officially sworn in today among colleagues, friends and family during the first city council meeting of the new year. Council Member Martin is a longtime resident of the district and brings a wealth of knowledge and unparalleled public and private experience to his new role.
“I am truly grateful and honored for the opportunity to serve the constituents of District E, and look forward to working together to better not only our communities but the entire City of Houston as well,” said Council Member Martin.
Since the November election, Council Member Martin has readily met with several directors of city departments to gain a better understanding of how each department operates and what to expect to effectively work together on behalf of his constituents. Council Member Martin and staff will continue to actively work with these key individuals as well as the community throughout his first term.
As constituent service is of his first priority, he welcomes all residents of the district to contact his office with questions or concerns and to follow him on social media to stay updated on recent news.
Council Member Martin takes the seat former Council Member Mike Sullivan occupied before being elected Harris County Tax Assessor last November.
