Message to Oak Meadows Community from LyondellBasell’s Houston Refinery

This is a Courtesy message from the LyondellBasell Houston Refinery at 12000 Lawndale in Houston with a reminder that we will conduct planned maintenance work from February through April on some units, while other units continue to operate. Beginning Monday, Jan. 28, law-enforcement officers will direct traffic on Allen-Genoa, Lawndale and at the Scarborough exits on Highway 225 during shift changes, which have been staggered so as to minimize impact upon our community.

Traffic will be busier 5:30-7:30 a.m. and 5-7:30 p.m.

The community will see increased traffic along Allen-Genoa Road, Lawndale and Highway 225, more workers and heavy equipment during this time. We realize the increased traffic might inconvenience our neighbors and we are doing everything we can to minimize impact upon our community.
