Post-Stroke Communication Group in Spanish

This group is provided for Spanish speakers who have survived a stroke and have difficulty with speaking, understanding, reading or writing (aphasia).

The group will be led by a graduate student from the University of Houston Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. A Spanish-speaking interpreter will assist. Participants will have the opportunity to practice communicating in a safe, friendly environment.

 Este grupo es para hablantes de español que han sobrevivido un derrame cerebral y tienen dificultad para hablar, entender, leer o escribir (afasia).

El grupo será dirigido por un estudiante de posgrado de la Universidad de Houston del departamento de trastornos de comunicación. Un interprete hablante de español asistirá el grupo. Los participantes tendrán la oportunidad de practicar la comunicación en un ambiente seguro y amable.
